Loctite / Thread Locker Guide

• Purple (222): Low strength. For small screws (<1/4") or electronics.
• Blue (242/243): Medium strength. Removable with hand tools. Most common.
• Red (271): High strength. Permanent. Requires heat (500F) to remove.
• Green (290): Wicking grade. Applied after the bolt is already tightened.
