Pi GPIO Power Limits

• Per Pin: 16mA maximum.
• Total (All Pins): 50mA maximum across the entire 3.3V rail.
• 5V Pins: Limited only by your power supply.

Warning: Never drive a motor or a bright LED directly from a GPIO pin. Always use a transistor or MOSFET.
