3D Print Wall Count vs Strength
Walls vs. Infill for Part Strength Adding more perimeters (walls) is almost always more efficient than increasing infill percentage. Visual Model: 2 Walls, 10% Infill. Functional Tool: 4 Walls, 30% Infill. Structural Load: 6 Walls, 40% Infill. Why? Most structural stresses are carried by the outer skin of the part. Increasing walls adds material where it matters most.
