Choosing a Laser Lens 1.5 inch: Very small spot. Best for high-res engraving, poor for cutting. 2.0 inch: All-purpose. Standard on most machines. 2.5 inch: Better for cutting thick wood (straighter edges). 4.0 inch: For very thick foam or materials where the head must stay far away.
