Overview
CPE (Co-Polyester) is a premium polyester filament combining the ease of printing of PETG with enhanced chemical resistance, higher temperature tolerance, and improved layer adhesion. Originally developed by ColorFabb, it is now available from multiple manufacturers. Excellent for functional parts exposed to chemicals, outdoor elements, or elevated temperatures. More rigid than PETG with better bridging performance.

Laser Compatibility
LASER INTERACTION
Safety: CAUTION — CPE/co-polyester releases similar compounds to PETG.
Fumes: Ethylene glycol derivatives. Better than ABS, worse than PLA.
Result: Similar to PETG — melts rather than chars cleanly. Not ideal for laser marking.
