Overview
TPU at 87 Shore A — significantly softer and more rubber-like than 95A. Approaches silicone-like feel and compliance. Exceptional for wearables, prosthetics, and anything needing true softness. Requires very slow speeds and a direct-drive extruder.

Pros

Cons
- Very difficult to print — extreme stringing tendency
- Very slow speeds (15-25mm/s) required
- Cannot use Bowden extruder
- Difficult to handle from spool
- Prone to tangling
- Hard to cut or post-process

Storage
Same care as 95A but even more critical — soft TPU degrades faster when wet. Print directly from a dry box for best results.
