CNC Chipload Formula
Calculating CNC Speeds Feedrate = RPM x Number of Flutes x Chipload RPM: How fast the bit spins. Chipload: The thickness of the slice each flute takes. Goal: If the bit gets hot, your chipload is too small (increase feed). If the bit breaks, your chipload is too large (decrease feed).
