About the Qidi X-Max
The Qidi X-Max is an FDM 3D printer, released in 2020. Its work area is 300×250×300mm.
It uses a 0.4 mm nozzle for 1.75 mm filament, a rated top speed of 150 mm/s.
The hotend tops out at 300°C and the bed at 110°C, which is high enough for engineering filaments such as nylon, polycarbonate and carbon-fiber blends.
The machine has no heated bed, which limits you mostly to PLA, comes enclosed, which helps with ABS and ASA, levels the bed automatically.
The machine runs Marlin, uses marlin2 G-code.
