Creating a Custom Print Profile in Orca Slicer from Scratch When you buy an off-brand filament with no Orca profile, or want settings tuned exactly to your spool, build a profile from scratch. Here's the full process. Step 1 — Start from Closest Existing Profile 1. Open Orca Slicer → Filament settings tab 2. Find the closest match (e.g., Generic PLA if you have a PLA-based material) 3. Click Copy profile — give it a name (e.g., "eSun PLA+ White") Step 2 — Set Basic Temperatures Start conservative: Step 3 — Run Calibrations In Order Run these Orca Slicer calibration prints in sequence — each feeds into the next: 1.
