Laser Compatibility
LASER INTERACTION
Safety: CAUTION — melts before burning, releases VOCs. Good ventilation required.
CO2 engrave: 400-500mm/s @ 10-14% | Diode 20W: 4000mm/min @ 28%
Result: Melts and re-solidifies, less sharp than PLA. Multiple fast passes work better.
Fumes: Ethylene glycol derivatives — irritating, not acutely toxic.
