Overview
PLA carrier loaded with iron powder (40-50% by weight). Attracted to strong neodymium magnets — magnets will stick to printed parts. Can be treated with vinegar and salt to develop authentic rust patina. Significantly heavier than standard PLA. Abrasive to brass nozzles.

Pros

Storage
Store in dry sealed container. Iron powder can pre-rust in humid storage — use desiccant. Use hardened steel nozzle (0.4mm minimum). When intentional rusting: vinegar + salt solution, apply with brush, let sit 30 min, repeat.
