Overview
Modified PLA formulation with heat deflection temperature of 90–100°C (vs 55°C for standard PLA) when annealed. Requires annealing step in oven at ~90°C for 30 minutes to crystallize and unlock HDT. Excellent for parts that would otherwise warp in hot cars or near heat sources.

Pros
  • 90–100°C HDT after annealing
  • Standard PLA print settings
  • No enclosure needed to print
  • Affordable
  • Good detail before annealing
Cons
  • Annealing step required — parts may warp if geometry unsupported
  • 10–15% shrinkage during anneal must be accounted for
  • No benefit if not annealed
  • Limited color range
Best For
  • Under-hood automotive parts|Car interior parts|Jigs and fixtures|Parts stored in hot environments|Cup holders
Avoid For
  • Parts that cannot be annealed (complex geometry)|Food contact (standard not food-safe)|Maximum precision dimensional parts
Storage
Standard PLA storage. After printing, anneal in 90°C oven for 30 min on flat surface to prevent sag.
