Overview
Mylar (biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate). Thin clear or colored plastic film. Laser cuts extremely cleanly with perfectly sealed edges. Popular for stencils, overlays, and templates.

Laser Compatibility
Mylar cuts very cleanly creating stencils. CO2: cut 600mm/s 15-20W. Diode: cut 500mm/s 60-70%. Thin material cuts in single fast pass. Excellent for stencils, masks, templates. Fumes from PET — ventilate.
