Overview
Nylon 6 - tougher and stiffer than PA12 but harder to print. Exceptional mechanical strength, good heat resistance (~130C). Print 240-280C nozzle, 80-100C bed. Enclosure mandatory.

Storage
Vacuum seal between prints. Dry 16h at 80C. Absorbs moisture within minutes in humid environments.
Laser Compatibility
LASER INTERACTION
Safety: DANGER — NEVER LASER nylon/PA filaments.
Fumes: PA6 releases caprolactam (toxic vapour), ammonia, and various nitrogen-containing organic compounds when burned. Some formulations also release hydrogen cyanide.
Warning: Caprolactam is acutely irritating to respiratory system and eyes. PA combustion also produces carbon monoxide. Never laser nylon parts.
