Overview
PLA reinforced with chopped carbon fiber. Significantly stiffer and stronger than PLA, matte black finish, good dimensional accuracy. Easy to print but requires hardened nozzle. Print 200-230°C nozzle, 55-70°C bed.

Storage
Same as PLA. Dry 4h @ 45°C if needed. Less moisture-sensitive than PA-CF.
Laser Compatibility
LASER INTERACTION
Safety: CAUTION — carbon fiber particles released during laser processing require protection.
CO2 engrave: 300-400mm/s @ 14-18%
Diode 20W engrave: 2500mm/min @ 35%
Result: Good contrast marking. CF-filled surface has unique matte texture that marks cleanly.
Fumes: PLA breakdown products (safe) PLUS carbon fiber micro-particles. Carbon fiber dust is a respiratory hazard and conductor. Use N95 or respirator, not just activated carbon filter.
Warning: Never cut CF-filled filament — particle release is much higher. Engraving only with proper respiratory protection and HEPA filtration.
