Overview
Polymaker PolySmooth PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) — not actually PVA but in the water-soluble family. Smoothed with 99% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) in the Polymaker Polysher device to produce injection-molded smooth finish. Unique post-processing option.

Laser Compatibility
LASER INTERACTION
Safety: CAUTION — PVB releases butyral and aldehyde compounds. Different from standard PVA.
Result: Can be marked but IPA-smoothed surface changes laser response vs unsmoothed.
Fumes: Aldehyde compounds — more irritating than PLA. Use good ventilation.
