About the Bambu Lab X1
The Bambu Lab X1 is an FDM 3D printer, released in 2022.
It uses a 0.4 mm nozzle for 1.75 mm filament, a rated top speed of 500 mm/s, a minimum layer height of 50 µm.
The hotend tops out at 300°C and the bed at 110°C, which is high enough for engineering filaments such as nylon, polycarbonate and carbon-fiber blends.
The machine comes enclosed, which helps with ABS and ASA, levels the bed automatically, supports multi-material printing.
The machine runs Klipper, connects over WiFi · LAN.
Supported software: Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer.
Materials listed: PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, ASA, PA, PC.
