Raspberry Pi: Headless OS Setup

'Headless' means setting up the Pi without ever plugging in a monitor or keyboard.

1. Use Raspberry Pi Imager

Select your OS. Click the 'Settings' (gear) icon.

2. Configure SSH and WiFi

• Enable SSH (Use password or public key).
• Set your WiFi SSID and Password.
• Set your Locale and Timezone.

3. Flash and Boot

Flash the SD card and insert it into the Pi. Power it on and wait 2 minutes for the initial boot.

4. Connect

On your PC, open a terminal and type: ssh [email protected]. You are now logged into your Pi wirelessly.
