Overview
Polyurethane synthetic leather. Engraves with sharp detail and cuts cleanly. Produces some fumes from PU binder - ventilate. Much cheaper than real leather. Good color options.

Storage
Test PVC: burn a small piece outdoors — acrid sharp smell = chlorine = stop immediately.
Laser Compatibility
PU leather cuts and engraves but produces plastic fumes. CO2: cut 3mm 150mm/s 60W, engrave 400mm/s 35%. Diode: cut 2mm 300mm/s 80%. Strong ventilation required. Results in clean dark engrave marks.
