Polystyrene foam core with paper or foamex faces. Cuts cleanly on CO2 laser for signs, architectural models, and display panels. NOT compatible with diode lasers (foam doesn't absorb 450nm). Produces excellent clean beveled edges.

Storage
Store flat. Foam boards warp in humidity. Use within year of purchase for consistent cutting.
Laser Compatibility
CO2 80W: 450mm/s 35% power for 5mm foam board (1 pass). Too slow causes melting. 10mm foam: 2 passes at 400mm/s 40%. Do NOT use air assist — blows paper face up. STRONG exhaust required — polystyrene fumes are toxic.
