Laser Compatibility
LASER INTERACTION
Safety: SAFE — PLA + chalk filler (calcium carbonate), both non-toxic.
CO2 engrave: 250-350mm/s @ 18-22% | Diode 20W: 2500mm/min @ 40%
Result: Exceptional. The matte surface is one of the best FDM materials for laser engraving — chalk filler increases absorption and gives very sharp, high-contrast marks.
Fumes: Same as PLA — low hazard.
Tips: One of the recommended filaments specifically for laser interaction on printed parts.
