About the RatRig V-Core 4 IDEX 500
The RatRig V-Core 4 IDEX 500 is an FDM 3D printer, released in 2024. Its work area is 500×500×500mm.
It uses a 0.4 mm nozzle for 1.75 mm filament, a rated top speed of 700 mm/s.
The hotend tops out at 300°C and the bed at 120°C, which is high enough for engineering filaments such as nylon, polycarbonate and carbon-fiber blends.
The machine has no heated bed, which limits you mostly to PLA, levels the bed automatically, supports multi-material printing.
The machine runs Klipper.
