Reading and Emulating IR Remotes with Flipper Zero The Flipper Zero has a built-in IR transceiver that can read, save, and replay signals from virtually any IR remote. Hardware The IR receiver/transmitter is on the top edge of the Flipper. Point remotes at it when reading. Reading a Remote 1. Infrared → Learn New Remote 2. Point remote at Flipper's top edge 3. Press button on remote 4. Flipper displays the protocol and signal data 5. Name it and Save Supported Protocols (Decoded) Decoded protocols are stored efficiently. RAW is stored as timing data. Emulating 1. Infrared → Saved Remotes 2. Select your saved remote 3. Press buttons — Flipper transmits Works from up to ~5 meters like a real remote.
