Aluminum composite (Dibond/ACM) cuts very well on Shapeoko. The plastic core is forgiving while the aluminum skins give clean edges. Bit Cutting Notes Tips Two-flute upcut works well. No coolant needed for ACM. The plastic core keeps tool wear low vs solid aluminum.
