Garolite / G-11
Overview
Garolite (also called G-10, G-11, or phenolic) is a fiberglass-reinforced composite material that serves as an exceptional bed surface for difficult-to-print filaments like Nylon, PC, and ABS. The textured surface provides just enough grip for excellent first-layer adhesion without over-bonding. Garolite sheets are rigid, heat resistant, and provide a unique micro-texture that grips filaments that refuse to stick to PEI or glass. It is the go-to bed surface for engineering-grade filaments. G-11 is the higher-temp variant rated to 180C+.
