Prusament PLA is manufactured by Prusa Research in Prague with exceptionally tight diameter tolerances (±0.02mm). One of the most consistent PLAs available. Spool weight is exact 1kg of filament. Widely used as the benchmark for PLA quality.

Laser Compatibility
LASER INTERACTION
Safety: SAFE — PLA base polymer. Standard ventilation sufficient.
CO2 engrave: 300-400mm/s @ 15-20% | Diode 20W: 3000mm/min @ 35%
Result: Clean dark marks. Good contrast on light colors.
Fumes: Lactic acid derivatives — low hazard.
Tips: Prusament PLA has tight tolerances — very consistent laser results across the spool.
