About the Prusa MK4
The Prusa MK4 is an FDM 3D printer, released in 2023. Its work area is 250×210×220mm.
It uses a 0.4 mm nozzle for 1.75 mm filament, a rated top speed of 500 mm/s, a minimum layer height of 50 µm.
The hotend tops out at 290°C and the bed at 120°C, which is high enough for engineering filaments such as nylon, polycarbonate and carbon-fiber blends.
The machine levels the bed automatically, supports multi-material printing.
The machine runs Marlin, uses marlin2 G-code, connects over USB · WiFi · LAN.
Supported software: PrusaSlicer, Orca Slicer.
Materials listed: PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, ASA, PA, PC, PLA+.
