Clear acrylic is the hardest for diode lasers. 20W barely cuts 3mm clear — use cast acrylic only. Cutting Engraving Notes Tips Diode lasers struggle with clear acrylic — the 450nm beam transmits rather than absorbs. Cast acrylic cuts better than extruded. Try masking with transfer tape.
